Apple chính thức ra mắt chiếc iPhone 12 mới với phần màn hình 6.1 inch như trước đây với phần tai thỏ nhỏ hơn, thiết kế viền cũng vuông vức như iPhone 5/5s ngày xưa. Ngoài ra iPhone 12 cũng được trang bị màn hình OLED thay vì LCD như trước. Sử dụng chip A14 Bionic và hỗ trợ mạng 5G.
Thiết kế & màn hình
iPhone 12 có thiết kế mới, thay vì bo tròn ở phần cạnh thì giờ đây lại vuông vứt theo dạng “box” như trên iPad Pro hoặc iPhone 5. Viền vẫn được làm bằng hợp kim nhôm series 7000 và 2 mặt kính trước sau. Apple cho rằng iPhone 12 mỏng hơn 11% so với iPhone 12 và nhẹ hơn 16%. Bền mặt kính được Apple phủ một lớp ceramic (từ nay không cần dán màn hình nữa), để đảm bảo mặt kính trước cứng cáp hơn và đỡ phải bị xước hơn.

Apple đã hợp tác với rất nhiều nhà mạng trên thế giới để đảm bảo iPhone 12 sử dụng 5G nhanh và ổn định khi ở bất cứ đâu. Apple test tốc độ mạng trong điều kiện lý tưởng đạt đến tốc độ 4Gbps. Wi-Fi Hotspot luôn được bảo mật tốt.

iPhone 12 sử dụng con chip A14 Bionic, đây là con chip 5nm đầu tiên với 11.8 bóng bán dẫn hơn 40% 7nm. CPU gồm 6 nhân – 4 nhân tiết kiệm điện và 2 nhân mạnh, GPU 4 nhân được thiết kế lại cho hiệu năng GPU cao nhất và tiết kiệm điện nhất có thể. Apple cho rằng iPhone 12 có hiệu năng GPU cao hơn các smart phone khác 50%.
Cấu hình iPhone 12
Với A14, iPhone 12 có thể chơi mượt mà game League of Legends (Liên Minh Huyền Thoại) bản mobile với các hiệu ứng của các champion được thể hiện tốt và mượt.
Neural Engine trên A14 có đến 16 nhân, tăng 2 lần số nhân so A12 và nó có thể hỗ trợ tính toán 11 nghìn tỷ phép tính mỗi giây. Các thuật toán ma trận có thể xử lý rất thông minh, thêm vào đó CPU cũng tối ưu với machine learning để giúp hiệu năng NPU của A14 nhanh hơn đến 10 lần so với A12. Một phần bộ controller ML do Apple tự thiết kế nên việc tính toán và tối ưu giữa CPU, GPU tốt hơn là chuyện không lạ gì, Apple đã làm tốt kể từ A11 Bionic rồi.

Camera trên iPhone 12 bao gồm camera Ultrawide 12MP và camera wide 12MP, cả 2 đều có khẩu độ f/1.6. Giúp chụp trong điều kiện tối tốt hơn 27% so với iPhone 12. iPhone 12 có thêm chế độ Smart HDR 3 – cho HDR lên được tự nhiên, đặc biệt trong điều kiện ngược sáng và sáng đều.

Sạc MagSafe sẽ hỗ trợ tốt với các phụ kiện ốp lưng (phụ kiện Apple) khi nó cũng sẽ hỗ trợ sạc xuyên case bình thường, hay có bộ phụ kiện mới là vừa sạc iPhone 12 vừa sạc cho Apple Watch và chỉ việc gập lại… Công suất sạc MagSafe của iPhone 12 là 15W, khá nhanh cho nhu cầu sạc không dây.

Cuộn cảm trong iPhone 12 có thêm phần nam châm, việc có nam châm sẽ tiện lợi cho việc cố định iPhone 12 trên một bề mặt sạc không dây chứ không có trơn trượt như trước đây chúng ta sử dụng smartphone để lên bề mặt sạc khác. Và với việc có nam châm như vậy sẽ kết hợp với các phụ kiện của Apple được chắc chắn hơn.
